The Winners of 2 Weeks 2 Make It are announced
The winners of 2Weeks 2Make It 2009 were announced on 29th April at the Showroom Cinema at the Awards Ceremony:
The Special Mention Award went to 'Tianemen / Copacetik Productions' - Kevin Tams
The Audience Award went to 'The Magi/ Little Red Light Films' - Martin Currie
The Grand Prize Award was collected by 'Yo Yo Static and the Shockettes / Electric Chaos' - Richard Bolam
who will receive £100 and a free day's mixing at '2Fly Studios'
Musician Grand Prize winners get a chart-registered release with Circuit Records, and distribution via iTunes and 600 other online stores!
Filmmaker Grand Prize winners get £1000.00 towards the budget of a music video they will produce with a signed musical artist.
Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who 'made it', which is an accomplishment in itself.
Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival has now made its programme of films throughout the 2009 Doc/Fest, available for viewing.

Urban Screens is an exciting new project being piloted in the Broomhall area of Sheffield using high tec screens and content created by local young people to create visual newspapers reflecting the diversity of the area.
Residents of Broomhall will be able to tell their life stories which will then be beamed around the area on the 32ins TVs - which will be placed in secure areas.
