'2 Weeks 2 Make It' now running

2Weeks 2Make It had it's launch and it was a very exciting day and night was it indeed! After a great Industry day of seminars and masterclasses featuring speakers like Caroline Bottomley (Radar Music Videos), Dave Holloway (Medlo), Tom Littlewood (Watts That? Productions) and others, over 150 musicians and filmmakers filled the Sheffield Independent Film Studio to hear a bit about how to best navigate their way through the stressful 2-week period that now faces them, and of course, to see who they get to work with! Dan Hart of Light Engine Films also won the SIF raffle, worth £500 for him to use on his 2Weeks 2Make It video!
From 8th - 24th April, the 19 teams are running all over Yorkshire, making music videos in quest of the £1,000 prize and more! More info is at: www.syfn.org/2weeks.html and www.syfn.org/news. Check it out!

Urban Screens is an exciting new project being piloted in the Broomhall area of Sheffield using high tec screens and content created by local young people to create visual newspapers reflecting the diversity of the area.
Residents of Broomhall will be able to tell their life stories which will then be beamed around the area on the 32ins TVs - which will be placed in secure areas.
